Seeking full-time Typists to work in our Springfield or Providence offices. You will transcribe digitally recorded statements from insurance carriers using our proprietary transcription platform.
Salary: You will be paid on production with production level increases, potential to earn $30/hour depending on typing speed and accuracy.

StenTel is currently seeking Independent Contractor transcriptionists for our Public Safety Transcription Division. Public Safety work requires transcription of Law Enforcement (Police & Fire Department) interviews from digital audio recordings. The need is for first shift (8 am to 4 or 5 pm EST) or second shift (4 pm to midnight EST). All work is straight transcription and you will be working on StenTel’s proprietary transcription platform.
• OS: Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10.
• Internet Explorer: Versions 8 – 11 will work.
• Microsoft Word: Professional or Home Premium versions 2007 – 2016. (Student/Teacher versions WILL NOT WORK.)
• Internet Connection: Cable or DSL is preferred. Wi-Fi is acceptable in most cases, and satellite connection may also be acceptable. Please remember, upload and download times with your internet connection will affect your overall production time.
