Medical Transcriptionist (Independent Contractor)

We are currently looking for MTs for 2nd and 3rd shift (any time between 2 p.m. and 7 a.m. EST). One weekend day is a plus and we do prefer to have you work 20 hours or more per week. If you are a new grad from an AHDI-approved course we would love to give you your first opportunity! We also welcome MTs with experience in acute care transcription. Come join our growing team of MTs.

No Off Shore. This is strictly an Independent Contractor position. Experience with the eScription or Entrada platform is a plus.

System Requirements:

• Medical spell check
• Computer OS: Windows XP, Vista (both 32-bit only) or Windows 7
• Browser: IE: 7, 8, or 9
• MS Word has to be 2003, 2007, or 2010(2010 must be 32 bit program)Professional. Student/Teacher version does not work.
• Your internet connection can be anything but dial-up.

Starting rates range from 5- 5.5 cpl for transcription and 2–2.5 cpl for VR editing with potential increase based upon experience and quantity/quality of work produced.

Legal Transcriptionist (Independent Contractor)

We are expanding our Legal and Insurance Division and are currently looking for transcriptionists who have experience with insurance and legal files. The insurance reports are recorded statements and the legal transcription work is a combination of depositions, letters, pleadings, and hearings. All work is straight transcription and uses our own proprietary ASP platform.

Required computer specs:

• Computer OS: No Mac please
• Internet Explorer: all versions work with the platform.
• MS Word has to be 2003, 2007, or 2010 Professional. Student/Teacher version does not work.
• Your internet connection can be anything but dial-up.

You must have legal or insurance experience to apply for these openings. No Offshore Please!

Starting rates range from 6-6 ½ cents per line, with potential increase based upon experience and quantity/quality of work produced.
