Our Account Manager has always been there when I had questions or needed doctors and ID's set up. She has always been able to fix any problems or questions we've had in the past.

1. Quality - Consistently excellent, above 98%.
2. They do clinic and inpatient work as well as transcribing all of our operative reports.
3. TAT - That remains excellent as well. We have a 2 hour TAT for Adm H&Ps and ED Consults and all other inpatient work needs to be back in 4 hours. Clinic reports within 10 hours.
4. They type on our platform, which is eScription, Edit Script, utilizing backend speech recognition.
5. Downtimes do not apply as they type on our platform. When we have scheduled downtimes with eScription, we ask that they staff up prior to the downtime and add additional staff after we are back up and this works very well.
6. Response to crisis situations is very good. If we need something STAT we just call them and they get it back shortly.
They answer emails almost instantly and we have an after hours procedure that works very well.

Since the use of the StenTel recorders has been implemented, I can personally account for dozens of hours saved at the keyboard. We are able to download an entire interview and attach it to a report. The District Attorney’s office has commented on several occasions how these transcriptions have made the preparation of a witness less stressful. I have also shared my recorder with other officers assigned to different units, all of whom share the same feeling that I do about how much time is saved by utilizing these recorders. When conducting an investigation, the less time typing and more time investigating is crucial with the workload that a department our size handles daily.

We have used StenTel as a vendor for many years.
